Simuleringsassisteret Taguchi-metode — Virtuel Robust Parameterdesign

Den simuleringsassisterede Taguchi-metode erstatter eller supplerer fysiske prototyper med computersimuleringsmodeller (endelig element-analyse, computational fluid dynamics, diskret-hændelsessimulering osv.) til at udføre Taguchi ortogonale array-eksperimenter. Signal-støj-forhold og effekter beregnes ud fra virtuelle kørsler, hvilket muliggør hurtig, billig optimering af designparametre for robusthed mod støj-faktorer — alt sammen før nogen fysisk hardware er bygget.
