Harmonisk forvrængningsanalyse

Harmonisk forvrængningsanalyse kvantificerer afvigelsen af spændings- eller strømformer fra sinusform på grund af ikke-lineære belastninger. Ved hjælp af Fourier-dekomponering adskiller ingeniører bølgeformen i dens grundlæggende frekvens og harmoniske komponenter (heltalsmultipla af 50 eller 60 Hz). Harmonisk analyse er kritisk for at vurdere strømkvalitet og designe filtre i moderne elsystemer med høj penetration af ikke-lineære enheder.
