Fejlanalyse i Elsystemer

Fejlanalyse bestemmer størrelsen og fordelingen af strømme og spændinger under unormale forhold i elsystemer, såsom kortslutninger. Ved hjælp af Fortescues symmetriske komponentmetode (1918) beregner ingeniører fejlstrømme for at designe beskyttelsesrelæer og udstyrsklassificeringer. Det er afgørende for at sikre sikker og pålidelig drift af elsystemer.
