Sårbarhedsvurdering er en systematisk proces til at identificere, kvantificere og prioritere sikkerhedssvaghed i systemer, netværk og applikationer. Ved hjælp af automatiserede scanningsværktøjer og manuelle teknikker opdager organisationer uopdateret software, fejlkonfigurationer, svage kryptografiske praksisser og andre eksponeringer, som angribere kunne udnytte.
