Hough-transformationen

Hough-transformationen er en teknik til at detektere linjer, cirkler og andre geometriske former i digitale billeder. Oprindeligt patenteret af Paul Hough i 1962 og populariseret inden for computersyn af Duda og Hart i 1972, konverterer Hough-transformationen kantpunkter i billedrummet til kurver i et parameterrum (akkumulatorrum), hvor kollineære eller cirkulære punkter klynger sig sammen og bliver let identificerbare.
