Teoria fonamentada interpretativa
La teoria fonamentada interpretativa és una metodologia qualitativa que construeix teoria substantiva inductivament a partir de dades, treballant des d'una perspectiva epistemològica interpretativista. Desenvolupada de manera més completa per Kathy Charmaz, sosté que el investigador i el participant co-construeixen significat, que les categories es creen en lloc de descobrir-se, i que la teoria resultant és un relat plausible entre d'altres, en lloc d'una representació objectiva de la realitat social.
