Diferència mínima important basada en àncora
El mètode basat en àncora per establir la Diferència Mínima Clínicament Important (MCID) és una tècnica per determinar el canvi més petit en un resultat reportat pel pacient (PRO) que els pacients o els clínics perceben com a significatiu o important. Pilotat per Guyatt, Jaeschke i Singer el 1989, aquest enfocament ancora els canvis en les puntuacions de resultats a esdeveniments o judicis externs clínicament significatius, permetent als investigadors i clínics interpretar si els efectes del tractament representen millores reals i rellevants per al pacient.
