Criptoanàlisi lineal
La criptoanàlisi lineal és un atac de text clar conegut que explota aproximacions lineals de les transformacions no lineals d'un xifrat per recuperar bits de clau secreta. Introduïda per Mitsuru Matsui el 1993, la criptoanàlisi lineal proporciona atacs pràctics contra xifrats com el DES amb una complexitat computacional inferior a la de la força bruta. La tècnica analitza biaixos estadístics en com les combinacions lineals de bits de text clar i text xifrat es relacionen amb els bits de clau, permetent la recuperació de la clau amb requisits de dades reduïts.
