| Resum≠ | Digital case study research applies the classic bounded case study framework to phenomena that are situated in, or mediated by, digital environments. Drawing on Robert Yin's foundational case study methodology, it investigates a contemporary phenomenon in depth within its real-world digital context — using online documents, social media archives, virtual interviews, website content, and other digital artifacts as primary evidence. The approach is particularly suited to studying how individuals, groups, or organisations behave in online spaces. | Narrative analysis is a qualitative research method, synthesised canonically by Catherine Kohler Riessman (2008), that examines how individuals storise their lived experiences and construct meaning through the telling. Drawing on life history, biographical, and narrative inquiry traditions, it treats the story itself — not just its content — as the unit of analysis, attending to temporal sequence, plot structure, and the social context in which a narrative is produced. |
