| Resum≠ | The Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ) is a 28-item self-report measure assessing retrospective experiences of childhood abuse and neglect in adolescents and adults. Developed by David Bernstein and colleagues in 1994, the CTQ quantifies five types of maltreatment: physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, physical neglect, and emotional neglect. It is widely used in clinical, forensic, and research settings to understand the role of childhood trauma in adult mental health, substance use, trauma-related disorders, and risk factors for future violence. | The RCADS is a 47-item (or 25-item brief version) self-report measure that assesses the full spectrum of anxiety disorders and major depression in children and adolescents ages 6–18 years. Developed by Bruce Chorpita in 2000, it provides six subscale scores aligned with DSM-IV diagnostic criteria: Separation Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Social Phobia, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Major Depressive Disorder. The RCADS is designed to be both a screening tool and a diagnostic aid. |
