Anàlisi estàtica equivalent
L'anàlisi estàtica equivalent és el mètode de disseny sísmic més senzill, que representa els efectes dels terratrèmols com una única força lateral estàtica aplicada al centre de masses o distribuïda al llarg de l'alçada de l'edifici. Estandarditzat per la SEAOC el 1959 i incorporat als codis de construcció moderns, és el mètode més utilitzat per al disseny d'edificis regulars.
