ওয়েটেড স্যাম্পলিং — ওয়েটেড প্রোবাবিলিটি স্যাম্পলিং
ওয়েটেড স্যাম্পলিং হলো একটি সম্ভাব্যতা-ভিত্তিক নকশা যেখানে ইউনিটগুলিকে একটি পরিচিত সহায়ক পরিমাপ বা গুরুত্বের অনুপাতে অসম সম্ভাবনার সাথে নির্বাচন করা হয়। স্যাম্পলিং ওয়েট — অন্তর্ভুক্তি সম্ভাবনার বিপরীত — বিশ্লেষণের সময় প্রয়োগ করা হয় যাতে প্রতিটি নমুনা ইউনিট সঠিকভাবে জনসংখ্যার সেই ইউনিটগুলিকে প্রতিনিধিত্ব করে যা তারা বহন করে। এই পদ্ধতিটি বৃহৎ আকারের সরকারি, স্বাস্থ্য এবং সামাজিক জরিপের ভিত্তি, যেখানে সাধারণ দৈবচয়ন নমুনা (simple random sampling) অকার্যকর হবে।
