বেয়েশীয় স্কেল উন্নয়ন
বেয়েশীয় স্কেল উন্নয়ন মনোগুণগত স্কেল (psychometric scales) নির্মাণ ও মূল্যায়নে বেয়েশীয় পরিসংখ্যানিক অনুমান (Bayesian statistical inference) প্রয়োগ করে। এটি আইটেম ও ব্যক্তি প্যারামিটারের একক বিন্দু অনুমানের (single point estimates) উপর নির্ভর না করে, অনিশ্চয়তা পরিমাপ করার জন্য পূর্ণ পোস্টেরিয়র ডিস্ট্রিবিউশন (posterior distributions) তৈরি করে, পূর্ব জ্ঞানকে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করে এবং ছোট বা জটিল নমুনায় আইটেম নির্বাচন, নির্ভরযোগ্যতা ও বৈধতা সম্পর্কে সুচিন্তিত সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণে সহায়তা করে।
