Optimal Power Flow
Optimal Power Flow (OPF) হল একটি বিদ্যুৎ ব্যবস্থার সবচেয়ে সাশ্রয়ী এবং নিরাপদ পরিচালন বিন্দু গণনার জন্য একটি মৌলিক অপ্টিমাইজেশান ফ্রেমওয়ার্ক। Jean Carpentier ১৯৬২ সালে এটি প্রবর্তন করেন, OPF পরিচালন ব্যয় (জ্বালানি, ক্ষতি, বা অন্যান্য খরচ) হ্রাস করে এবং একই সাথে ভৌত ও পরিচালন সীমাবদ্ধতাগুলি পূরণ করে। আধুনিক বিদ্যুৎ গ্রিডগুলি রিয়েল-টাইম অর্থনৈতিক ডিসপ্যাচ, নিরাপত্তা বিশ্লেষণ এবং পরিকল্পনার জন্য OPF-এর উপর নির্ভর করে, যা এটিকে পাওয়ার সিস্টেম ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং-এর অন্যতম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সমস্যা করে তুলেছে।
