অর্থনৈতিক প্রেরণ (Economic Dispatch)
অর্থনৈতিক প্রেরণ (ED) হলো জ্বালানি খরচ সর্বনিম্ন রেখে চাহিদা মেটানোর জন্য বিদ্যুৎ উৎপাদনকারী যন্ত্রগুলোর মধ্যে বিদ্যুৎ উৎপাদন ক্ষমতাকে সর্বোত্তমভাবে বন্টন করার প্রক্রিয়া। ১৯৫৮ সালে কির্চমেয়ার এটি প্রবর্তন করেন। ED হলো বিদ্যুৎ ব্যবস্থার পরিচালনায় প্রতি কয়েক মিনিটে সমাধান করা একটি মৌলিক রিয়েল-টাইম অপ্টিমাইজেশন সমস্যা। ইউনিট কমিটমেন্টের (যা জেনারেটর চালু/বন্ধ করার সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়) বিপরীতে, ED ধরে নেয় যে জেনারেটরগুলি ইতিমধ্যেই কমিটেড আছে এবং সবচেয়ে লাভজনকভাবে লোড ভাগ করার উপর মনোযোগ দেয়। ED-এর দ্রুত প্রতিক্রিয়া দক্ষ রিয়েল-টাইম বিদ্যুৎ কেন্দ্রের কার্যক্রম সক্ষম করে।
