G-Computation (Parametric G-formula)
G-computation হলো একটি কার্যকারণ অনুমান পদ্ধতি যা পর্যবেক্ষণমূলক ডেটা থেকে কোনো হস্তক্ষেপ বা চিকিৎসার প্রভাব পরিমাপের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়। ১৯৮৬ সালে জেমস এম. রবিন্স (James M. Robins) কর্তৃক বিকশিত এই পদ্ধতিটি প্রমিতকরণের (standardization) একটি প্যারামেট্রিক পদ্ধতি সরবরাহ করে যা পরিবর্তনশীল এক্সপোজার (time-varying exposures) এবং কনফাউন্ডার (confounders) পরিচালনা করতে পারে। এই পদ্ধতিটি বিভিন্ন হস্তক্ষেপ পরিস্থিতির অধীনে জনসংখ্যার ফলাফল কী হবে তা অনুমান করে, যেখানে ফলাফল মডেল (outcome models) ব্যবহার করা হয়।
