الكشف عن النفي — تحديد ما لم يحدثه النص
الكشف عن النفي هو مهمة معالجة اللغة الطبيعية التي تحدد إشارات النفي في النص — الكلمات أو العبارات مثل 'لا'، 'ليس'، 'بدون'، أو 'ينكر' — وتحدد مدى النص (النطاق) الذي تعكس تلك الإشارات معناه. تم إضفاء الطابع الرسمي عليها للنصوص السريرية بواسطة تشابمان وآخرين (2001) باستخدام خوارزمية NegEx وتم توسيعها لتشمل تعلم النطاق في الأدبيات الطبية الحيوية بواسطة مورانتي ودايلمانز (2009)، وتعد هذه الطريقة ضرورية حيثما يكون للفرق بين وجود نتيجة واستبعادها صراحة عواقب حقيقية.
