تحليل حجم التأثير
يقيس تحليل حجم التأثير المقدار العملي للنتيجة الإحصائية بشكل مستقل عن حجم العينة. فبدلاً من السؤال عما إذا كان الفرق أو العلاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية فحسب، فإنه يسأل عن مدى كبرها، باستخدام مؤشرات موحدة مثل Cohen's d، أو eta-squared، أو omega-squared، أو Pearson's r التي تسمح بالمقارنة المباشرة عبر الدراسات والسكان.
