طريقة انتشار الحزمة (BPM) هي تقنية حسابية لمحاكاة انتشار الحزم الضوئية عبر هياكل متغيرة ببطء وضعيفة التوجيه. طورت بواسطة فيت وفليك في عام 1978، تستفيد BPM من التقريب الباركسي لتقليل معادلة الموجة المتجهة الكاملة إلى معادلة غلاف قياسية أو متجهة، مما يتيح محاكاة فعالة للموجهات الضوئية، والبصريات المتكاملة، والأجهزة الفوتونية.
