تجمع شجرة العزل التفسيرية بين خوارزمية كشف الشذوذ شجرة العزل (Isolation Forest) وأدوات التفسير اللاحقة — وأكثرها شيوعًا SHAP (Shapley Additive exPlanations) — ليس فقط لتحديد الملاحظات الشاذة ولكن أيضًا للكشف عن الميزات التي أدت إلى كل درجة شذوذ. إنها تسد الفجوة بين كشف الشذوذ غير الخاضع للإشراف ومتطلبات القابلية للتفسير للمجالات المنظمة وعالية المخاطر.
