تضع شجرة القرار البيزية (Bayesian CART) توزيعًا مسبقًا على هياكل الأشجار ومعاملات الأوراق، ثم تستخدم سلسلة ماركوف مونت كارلو لاستكشاف التوزيع اللاحق للأشجار بالنظر إلى البيانات. بدلاً من شجرة واحدة مثلى، تنتج توزيعًا للأشجار المعقولة التي يتم حساب متوسط تنبؤاتها، مما يوفر تقديرات عدم اليقين المعايرة جنبًا إلى جنب مع تنبؤات النقاط.
