VAP
The Vestibular Activities and Participation (VAP) scale is a patient-reported measure designed to assess limitations in activities of daily living and restrictions in social participation resulting from vestibular dysfunction. Developed within the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) framework, the VAP evaluates the 'activity' and 'participation' domains rather than impairment alone. It complements clinical vestibular testing and handicap measures (e.g., Dizziness Handicap Inventory) by capturing real-world functional outcomes and quality-of-life limitations.
