OSDI
The OSDI is a 12-item symptom questionnaire designed to screen for and grade the severity of dry eye disease and other ocular surface disorders. Developed by Schiffman, Christianson, and colleagues (2000), it quantifies patient-reported ocular irritation and visual function limitations across frequency and impact domains. The OSDI is the most widely used screening tool for dry eye in clinical practice, clinical trials, and epidemiological studies worldwide.
