Tóm tắtSupply Chain Integration (SCI) refers to an organization's capacity to seamlessly coordinate and align processes, information, and incentives across internal functions and with external suppliers and customers. Flynn et al. (2010) operationalized SCI into three complementary dimensions in the Journal of Operations Management: internal integration (coordination across departments), supplier integration (collaboration with upstream partners), and customer integration (collaboration with downstream partners). Organizations with high SCI reduce costs through process alignment, improve quality through shared information, and accelerate time-to-market through coordinated innovation. This scale has become foundational in supply chain management research and practice.Market Sensing Capability (MSC) refers to an organization's ability to systematically gather, interpret, and respond to market information about customers, competitors, and market trends. Building on Kohli and Jaworski's (1990) market orientation construct and George Day's (1994) framework of market-driven organizations, the MSC scale measures three interconnected processes: intelligence generation (acquiring market information), dissemination (sharing information across functions), and responsiveness (acting on market insights). Organizations with strong MSC detect competitive threats earlier, understand customer needs more deeply, and adapt strategies faster than competitors with weaker sensing capabilities.
