This design combines the idiographic power of single-subject methodology with a structured blinding control to reduce performance or assessment bias, and is common in applied behavior analysis, clinical psychology, and rehabilitation research. | Single-subject experimental design (SSED) establishes experimental control by repeatedly measuring one individual (or a small number of individuals) across baseline and intervention phases, using the participant as their own control.
