| Tóm tắt≠ | The PedsQL Cancer Module is a 31-item disease-specific instrument developed by Varni et al. in 2002 to measure quality of life in children and adolescents with cancer aged 2–18 years. It captures treatment burden (nausea, vomiting, pain, hair loss), cancer-related worry, cognitive concerns, and emotional and social impacts of diagnosis and treatment. Used alongside the PedsQL Generic Core Scales, it provides comprehensive assessment of both cancer-specific and general health-related quality of life during active treatment, survivorship, and end-of-life care. | The QOLCE is a comprehensive 76-item disease-specific instrument developed by Sabaz et al. in 2000 to assess quality of life in children with epilepsy aged 4–16 years. Measuring across 16 distinct domains including seizure worry, cognitive concerns, medication effects, school/peer functioning, and family impact, the QOLCE provides a nuanced profile of how epilepsy and its treatment affect daily life. It exists in parent-report (QOLCE-P) and child self-report (QOLCE-C) versions. |
