Mutual independence

A property of a collection of events whereby every subset satisfies the multiplication rule: the joint probability equals the product of the individual probabilities. Mutual independence implies pairwise independence, but pairwise independence is not sufficient for mutual independence. It is the strongest form of stochastic independence.
