Pilotavvikande fallurval — Belastningstestning av instrument med extremfall
Pilotavvikande fallurval är en avsiktlig urvalsstrategi som tillämpas under en pilotfas där deltagare medvetet väljs ut eftersom de representerar extrema, ovanliga eller atypiska instanser av det studerade fenomenet. Istället för att söka representativa deltagare för pilotkörningen rekryterar forskaren avsiktligt extremfall för att undersöka gränserna för forskningsinstrument, intervjuguider eller datainsamlingsprotokoll innan huvudstudien påbörjas.
