Multi-level Weighted Sampling
Multi-level weighted sampling är en sannolikhetsbaserad urvalsdesign som drar stickprov från hierarkiskt nästlade populationer – såsom elever inom klasser inom skolor inom distrikt – och tilldelar designvikter på varje nivå för att redogöra för ojämlika urvalsannolikheter. Den resulterande viktade datan möjliggör opartisk populationsnivåinferens trots den komplexa, icke-proportionella strukturen hos urvalsramen. Det är ryggraden i stora internationella bedömningar såsom PISA och TIMSS.
