Formell konceptanalys (FCA)
Formell konceptanalys härleder en hierarki av begrepp från en enkel tabell över vilka objekt som har vilka attribut. Grundad av Rudolf Wille 1982 på gitterteori, parar den varje mängd objekt med de attribut de alla delar för att bilda 'formella begrepp', och organiserar sedan dessa till ett begreppsgitter – en matematiskt grundad, tolkbar hierarki som används för kunskapsupptäckt, ontologibyggande och förklarbar analys av kategoriska data.
