Samtidig utforskande sekventiell blandmetod (CESM)
Concurrent exploratory sequential mixed methods design är en avancerad konfiguration av mixed methods som kombinerar två tidstrukturer: en samtidig (parallell) datainsamlingsfas vid sidan av en explorativ sekventiell sträng, där tidiga kvalitativa resultat informerar utvecklingen eller förfinandet av en kvantitativ komponent. Denna hybrid används när en studie behöver både realtidsintegration av kvalitativa och kvantitativa data och en instrumentbyggande eller teoritestande fas som drivs av initial kvalitativ utforskning.
