Sårbarhetsbedömning är en systematisk process för att identifiera, kvantifiera och prioritera säkerhetsbrister i system, nätverk och applikationer. Med hjälp av automatiserade skanningsverktyg och manuella tekniker upptäcker organisationer oskyddad programvara, felkonfigurationer, svaga kryptografiska metoder och andra exponeringar som angripare skulle kunna utnyttja.
