It preserves the immediacy and richness of traditional field notes while enabling the researcher to record observations quickly and hands-free when written note-taking is impractical or disruptive.	Non-participant observation is a data-collection method in which the researcher observes behavior, interactions, or events in a natural or structured setting without joining or influencing the activity under study.
