SammanfattningMotivational Interviewing (MI) is a client-centered counseling approach designed to elicit and strengthen intrinsic motivation for behavioral change. Developed by William R. Miller and Stephen Rollnick in 1991, MI has been extensively applied to substance use disorders, health behavior change, mental health treatment engagement, and numerous other areas where ambivalence about change is a primary obstacle.Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) assessment is a structured diagnostic and formulation process that identifies the relationships between situations, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors maintaining psychological distress. Rooted in the cognitive model developed by Aaron T. Beck in the 1960s, CBT assessment produces a personalized functional analysis that guides treatment planning and intervention selection.
