Dallimi i qëllimit është një detyrë e kuptimit të gjuhës natyrore që klasifikon qëllimin pas një deklarate të përdoruesit — siç është bërja e një rezervimi, kërkimi i informacionit ose paraqitja e një ankesë — në një nga një grup klasash të paracaktuara të qëllimit. Është një komponent kryesor NLU i ndërfaqeve konversacionale dhe sistemeve të automatizimit të shërbimit ndaj klientit, duke u mbështetur në standardet e Larson et al. (2019) dhe Casanueva et al. (2020).
