Analiza e moderuar e ndërmjetësimit robust teston nëse efekti indirekt i X mbi Y përmes një ndërmjetësuesi M ndryshon në varësi të një moderatori W, duke përdorur vlerësim robust (bootstrap me përqindje ose të korrigjuar për shtrembërim, gabime standarde konsistente me heteroskedasticitetin, ose M-vlerësim) për të mbrojtur inferencën kundër jo-normalitetit, vlerave anomale dhe heteroskedasticitetit në të dhëna.
