Diagrama de Control EWMA
Diagrama de control de la media móvil ponderada exponencialmente (EWMA), introducida por S. W. Roberts en 1959, monitorea un proceso utilizando un promedio ponderado que otorga el mayor peso a la observación más reciente, mientras que las observaciones más antiguas se desvanecen geométricamente. Al igual que CUSUM, esta memoria la hace muy eficaz para detectar cambios pequeños y sostenidos en la media del proceso, con un único parámetro de suavizado λ que controla cuánta información pasada retiene el diagrama.
