Metodat e përziera transformative të ngulitura është një dizajn kërkimor që vendos një lloj të dhënash (sasiore ose cilësore) brenda një grup-i-të dhënash dominues të llojit tjetër, me të dyja fillesat e udhëhequra nga një kornizë transformative mbizotëruese — siç janë teoria feministe, e drejta e personave me aftësi të kufizuara, ose teoria e drejtësisë sociale. Dizajni i shërben pyetjeve kërkimore ku gjerësia statistikore dhe kuptimi cilësor i thelluar duhet të flasin drejtpërdrejt për qëllimet e barazisë, fuqizimit ose ndryshimit sistemik.
