DFT i Varur i Kohës
Teoria e Funksionalit të Dendësisë e Varur nga Koha (TDDFT) zgjeron DFT-në në gjendje të ngacmuara dhe fenomene të varura nga koha. Formuluar nga Runge dhe Gross në 1984, TDDFT mundëson llogaritjen e energjive të ngacmimit, spektrave optike dhe proceseve të transferimit të ngarkesës me kosto mesatare llogaritëse, duke e bërë atë të paçmueshme për fotokiminë dhe shkencën e materialeve.
