Analiza e Vlerës Treguese
Analiza e Vlerës Treguese (IndVal), e zhvilluar nga Dufrene dhe Legendre (1997), identifikon specieve që tregojnë në mënyrë të besueshme praninë e kushteve mjedisore, tipeve të habitateve ose grupeve të komuniteteve. Metoda kuantifikon lidhjen midis specieve dhe habitatit, duke prodhuar një vlerë treguese që kombinon specifikitetin (preferencë ekskluzive për habitate të caktuara) dhe besnikërinë (prani e vazhdueshme kur habitati ekziston). IndVal përdoret gjerësisht në ruajtje për të identifikuar specieve me rëndësi menaxhimi, në klasifikimin e habitateve për të zbuluar specieve treguese, dhe në ekologjinë e restaurimit për të vlerësuar nëse komunitetet e rikuperuara përputhen me kushtet referuese.
