Inspektimi i thellë i paketave
Inspektimi i thellë i paketave (DPI) është një teknikë e analizës së trafikut të rrjetit që shqyrton ngarkesën e plotë të paketës përtej informacionit të kokës për të identifikuar, klasifikuar dhe potencialisht kontrolluar trafikun e të dhënave. Zhvilluar në vitet 1990 për monitorimin dhe menaxhimin e rrjetit, DPI analizon përmbajtjen e paketave për të zbuluar protokolle, aplikacione dhe modele, duke mundësuar monitorimin e sigurisë, menaxhimin e cilësisë së shërbimit dhe filtrimin e përmbajtjes. DPI përdoret gjerësisht nga ofruesit e shërbimeve të internetit, ndërmarrjet dhe organizatat e sigurisë për të monitoruar trafikun e rrjetit dhe për të zbatuar politika.
