СводкаA Dynamic Bayesian Network (DBN) extends a standard Bayesian network over time by representing how a set of random variables evolve across discrete time steps. It captures both the conditional independence structure among variables at each instant and the probabilistic dependencies between consecutive time slices, enabling principled reasoning about temporal processes under uncertainty.Hierarchical Bayesian inference is a probabilistic modeling framework that organises parameters into levels, placing priors on the group-level parameters and hyperpriors on the parameters governing those priors. It enables partial pooling of information across groups, balancing the extremes of treating each group as independent or merging them into a single estimate.
