Typische-gevallensteekproef — Typische-gevallen doelgerichte steekproef
Typische-gevallensteekproef is een doelgerichte strategie waarbij de onderzoeker bewust gevallen selecteert die representatief zijn voor wat gewoon, normaal of het meest voorkomend is binnen een doelgroep. In plaats van uitschieters of de breedst mogelijke variatie te zoeken, is het doel om aan belanghebbenden of publiek dat er nog niet bekend mee is, te illustreren en te communiceren hoe een typische ervaring, programma of fenomeen eruitziet. De strategie wordt veel gebruikt in kwalitatief evaluatieonderzoek en programmarapportage.
