Robuuste Kwantitatieve Inhoudsanalyse
Robuuste kwantitatieve inhoudsanalyse is een systematische methode voor het coderen en tellen van manifeste of latente kenmerken van communicatie-inhoud — teksten, beelden of media — terwijl statistische schatters worden toegepast die bestand zijn tegen uitschieters, scheve verdelingen en codeerinconsistenties. Door het gestructureerde codeerprotocol van klassieke inhoudsanalyse te combineren met robuuste statistische maten, produceert het frequentie- en associatieschattingen die minder vervormd zijn wanneer gegevens niet aan normaliteitsassumpties voldoen of extreme waarden bevatten.
