Veldgebaseerde auto-etnografie — Belichaamd onderzoek in naturalistische omgevingen
Veldgebaseerde auto-etnografie is een kwalitatief onderzoeksontwerp waarbij de onderzoeker zich onderdompelt in een specifieke fysieke of sociale setting en put uit de eigen geleefde ervaring binnen dat veld om analytisch reflexieve verslagen te produceren. Het combineert de systematische observatiepraktijken van etnografisch veldwerk met de eerste-persoons introspectieve stem van auto-etnografie, en genereert kennis die tegelijkertijd persoonlijk, cultureel en contextueel gefundeerd is.
