Stereografische Stabiliteitsanalyse van Hellingen
Stereografische projectie is een grafische methode voor het analyseren van hellingstabiliteit door de driedimensionale oriëntatie van discontinuïteiten (voegen, beddingen, breuken) en de mijnwand op een tweedimensionaal stereografisch net (stereonet) weer te geven. De methode maakt snelle visuele identificatie mogelijk van potentieel instabiele hellinggeometrieën waarbij discontinuïteiten uit de helling dagzomen onder steilere hoeken dan het hellingvlak.
