Multicenter Dose-Response Analyse — Gepoolde Blootstelling-Respons Modellering Over Studielocaties
Multicenter dose-response analyse schat de kwantitatieve vorm van de relatie tussen een gegradeerde blootstelling en een gezondheidsuitkomst door gegevens of effectschattingen van twee of meer studielocaties te poolen. Met behulp van flexibele regressietools zoals restricted cubic splines of fractionele polynomen binnen een tweefasig meta-analytisch raamwerk, karakteriseert het of de relatie lineair, supra-lineair, drempelgebaseerd of J-vormig is — wat veel grotere statistische power en generaliseerbaarheid biedt dan enige individuele locatie alleen zou kunnen bereiken.
