Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique
SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) is een rangschikkende multi-criteria besluitvormingsmethode (MCDM) geïntroduceerd door Edwards, W. in 1986. Het transformeert een beslissingsmatrix van alternatieven, gescoord op meerdere criteria, naar een gestructureerd, reproduceerbaar resultaat.
