| Samenvatting≠ | Panel Kriging is a geostatistical interpolation method that combines kriging's spatial prediction framework with a panel (longitudinal) data structure. It estimates unknown values at unobserved locations and times by borrowing strength from repeated spatial observations across multiple time periods, accounting for both spatial dependence and temporal autocorrelation simultaneously. | Geographically Weighted Regression is a local regression method, introduced by Fotheringham, Brunsdon and Charlton (2002), that allows the regression coefficients to vary across space. Instead of one global equation, it fits a separate set of coefficients at every location, capturing spatial heterogeneity in the relationships. |
