SamenvattingFine-Tuned Topic Modeling adapts pre-trained language models — such as BERT or Sentence-BERT — to discover latent topics in document collections. Unlike classical probabilistic methods (LDA, NMF), it leverages rich contextual embeddings and optionally fine-tunes the backbone on domain-specific corpora, producing more coherent and semantically meaningful topics, especially on short texts or specialized domains.Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) is a probabilistic generative model introduced by Blei, Ng, and Jordan in 2003 that discovers hidden thematic structure in large text collections by representing each document as a mixture of latent topics and each topic as a probability distribution over vocabulary words.
